The Evolution of Street Wear has came full circle in these past few years. Independent brands like Obey, Crooks and Castles, Dimepiece LA, and Adapt to name a few forerunners of the trending style; of in your face graphics, and screen tee's. I love street wear because it really gives you the opportunity to show your own individuality. Mixing high end brands with low end fashion creating a collage of what's "in" there are no rules, just have fun with it. All of these brands that I mentioned above can be found on Karmaloop and if you use rep code: Ak_fourtee7 you will receive 20% off your first purchase and any purchase following you will receive 10% off! This weeks rising talent features music from new kid on the block CJ Fly, member of  The Pro Era (Progressive Era) campaign. His new mix-tape Thee Way Eye See It is posted here with features from other Pro Era affiliates including: leader of the movement Joey Bada$$, Statik Selektah, Dirty Sanchez, and A La $ole not to mention other noticeable artists to watch for including T.D.E. (Top Dawg Entertainment) group member Ab-Soul. You can catch all of the mentioned acts listed above, currently on The Smokers Club Tour 2013. Which should be headed to a city near you real soon. Check out the flyer I have posted on here, to catch a "whiff" of what this animated ensemble has to set the stage on fire, and catch a "blaze" no pun intended. ;)

Lets get back to business.  Here are a few of this season's most buzzworthy Fall/Winter 2013 must have... none other than the coveted OVERSIZED COAT. From inspirations including military styles, playful colors , mixed-media textures, and asymmetrical/architectural designs these are some of the trends that every fashionista must have. The Trench Coat has always been a go to for outerwear. Its very versatile and chic, whether you dress it up with skyscraper heels or give it edge appeal with combat style military boots this is one all around class act, also another trend I have seen with the trench in particular is the featuring of mixing different textures commonly termed mixed-media. Like the one I have shown here from Sam Edelman that can be found at Dillard's , alongside this ravishing Steve Madden trench with faux leather arms. Next in the line up is the oh so sophisticated Cocoon ...
