Black, White, and Metallic Party Dresses #NYE14

Well the holidays are in full swing now, with Thanksgiving behind us. The Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals long gone.....The only thing left on the holiday to do list, after the annual gift giving season is none other than the BIGGEST PARTY OF THE YEAR. NEW YEARS EVE! I'm a Black and White type of girl for these occasions. Real classic, vintage, old Hollywood type fashion, but I also enjoy the glitz and glamor of the holiday season too. Especially on New Years Eve you want to make sure to give a lasting impression and start the year off right turning heads, no correction breaking necks in jaw dropping designs. One thing to keep in mind though when dress shopping is to remember to dress accordingly to whats comfortable for YOU. Also what looks good on ones body type does not look good on all....I'm sorry. So do not let the one size fits all lie get you. One size fits most. Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, and have fun most importantly. Here are some of the latest eye catching dresses I found. From a few of my favorite stores when in the business for a party dress including: Arden BLu Lu's, Urban Outfitters, and independent designers Ngozika O'keke as well as Instagram sensation  Jhoanka & Co.

Fall/Winter Staples: The Oversized Coat

Ok, now that most of us have came down from our sugar rush and  post Halloween hangovers . Lets get back to business.  Here are a few of this season's most buzzworthy Fall/Winter 2013 must have... none other than the coveted OVERSIZED COAT. From inspirations including military styles, playful colors , mixed-media textures, and asymmetrical/architectural designs these are some of the trends that every fashionista must have. The Trench Coat has always been a go to for outerwear. Its very versatile and chic, whether you dress it up with skyscraper heels or give it edge appeal with combat style military boots this is one all around class act, also another trend I have seen with the trench in particular is the featuring of mixing different textures commonly termed mixed-media. Like the one I have shown here from Sam Edelman that can be found at Dillard's , alongside this ravishing Steve Madden trench with faux leather arms. Next in the line up is the oh so sophisticated Cocoon ...
